What it is

The commercial model is the headline: flat rate, unlimited users. All three Service Fusion tiers are explicitly unlimited users, which is genuinely unusual in a category where almost everything is priced per technician or per seat. Published figures, billed annually, are Starter 208 per month, Plus 325 and Pro 533. Month-to-month is Starter 245, Plus 382 and Pro 627, with the annual option described as saving 15 percent and charged as one annual payment at sign-up. For a business with office staff as well as technicians, or one that fluctuates seasonally, that structure can be dramatically cheaper than per-seat competitors. The currency is inferred, not stated: the page shows a bare dollar sign with no ISO code, and USD is inferred from Service Fusion being a US vendor selling into the US and Canada.

Functionally it covers customer management, estimates, scheduling and dispatch with drag-and-drop assignment, automatic route planning with real-time adjustment, work order generation in a single click, a technician mobile app, invoicing with progress and recurring billing on Pro, integrated voice and text, GPS vehicle tracking and QuickBooks sync. Trade coverage is very wide, with over 25 trade-specific pages spanning HVAC and refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, garage door, locksmith, irrigation, pool, remodelling, cleaning, solar, roofing and concrete.

Read the tier matrix carefully, because several core items are add-ons. The customer web portal is an add-on on Starter and Plus and only included on Pro. Inventory management is an add-on on Starter. eSign is an add-on on Starter and Plus. GPS fleet tracking is an add-on on all three tiers. Open API Integration is Pro only. QuickBooks is the one thing included on every tier. So the 208 entry figure buys less than the feature list suggests, and a realistic configuration sits higher.

  • Offline is unknown. Neither the homepage nor the tier matrix mentions offline at all, and the matrix lists no offline row on any tier. Offline is claimed only on vendor-authored competitor-comparison pages that were not opened directly. Given how often offline is overstated in this category, that gap is recorded as unknown rather than resolved either way.
  • No service agreement or contract management row appears anywhere in the tier matrix, which is a real gap against ServiceTitan and FieldEdge.
  • Integrated voice and text exists but names no provider, so no telephony integration slug could be recorded.

Capabilities

Each capability carries its own verification status. “Not verified” means exactly that: it has not been checked, and must not be read as absent.

CapabilityStatusNotes

SLA management Measuring response and resolution against service levels. Not verified Not verified on the vendor site.
Service contracts and agreements Recurring service agreements, entitlements and renewals. Not verified Not listed on any tier of the feature matrix and not on the homepage. A real gap against ServiceTitan and FieldEdge, but recorded unknown rather than as a verified absence.
Offline working Creating and completing work with no connectivity, and syncing on reconnection. Not verified The homepage and the full tier feature matrix do not mention offline at all, and the matrix lists no offline row on any tier. Offline is claimed only on vendor-authored competitor-comparison pages that were not opened directly. Given how frequently offline is overstated in this category, recorded unknown rather than resolved.

NoteCURRENCY IS INFERRED. The page shows a bare dollar sign with no ISO code and the vendor states no currency code anywhere on the pricing page; USD is inferred from Service Fusion being a US vendor based in Dallas, Texas and selling into the US and Canada. Flat per-company rate with UNLIMITED USERS on every tier, which is the distinguishing feature of this product commercially. Annual billing: Starter 208, Plus 325, Pro 533, all per month billed annually. Monthly billing: Starter 245, Plus 382, Pro 627 per month. The annual toggle is described as saving 15 percent. ADD-ONS THAT MATTER: customer web portal is an add-on on Starter and Plus and included only on Pro; inventory management is an add-on on Starter; eSign is an add-on on Starter and Plus; GPS fleet tracking is an add-on on all three tiers; Open API Integration is Pro only; QuickBooks is included on all three. The FAQ states plans are offered on a month-to-month basis. free_trial is unknown: the page offers Get a Free Demo buttons and makes no trial statement, and a demo is not a trial.

Strengths and limitations

Strengths

  • Fully transparent public pricing with unlimited users on every tier, unusual in a category where most competitors are quote-only or per-seat. verified source
  • Flat unlimited-user licensing means adding technicians or office staff does not raise the subscription, which materially changes the economics for user-heavy businesses. verified source
  • Automatic route planning with real-time adjustment plus real-time vehicle tracking, available without a separate telematics vendor. verified source
  • Very wide trade coverage with more than 25 trade-specific solution pages. verified source

Limitations

  • API access is gated to the top Pro tier only, at 533 per month billed annually. verified source
  • Several core items are paid add-ons rather than included: customer web portal on Starter and Plus, GPS fleet tracking on all tiers, eSign on Starter and Plus, and inventory on Starter. verified source
  • No service agreement or contract management row appears anywhere in the tier matrix, a gap against ServiceTitan and FieldEdge. verified source
  • No free trial is offered or stated on the pricing page; evaluation is via demo only. verified source

Who it suits

Organisation sizes: Small, Medium

Good fit: small and mid-sized service businesses with a lot of users relative to revenue, which is exactly where per-seat pricing hurts most. A shop with six technicians, two dispatchers, an office manager and a bookkeeper pays the same as a shop with two technicians, and that is the single strongest reason to look at this product. Seasonal businesses that staff up and down benefit for the same reason. The very wide trade coverage means most residential and light commercial trades will find a relevant configuration, and automatic route planning plus real-time vehicle tracking are available without bringing in a separate telematics vendor.

Poor fit: businesses that need service agreements or maintenance contracts managed in the field system, since no such row appears in the tier matrix at all. Also a poor fit if API access matters on a modest budget, because Open API Integration is gated to the top Pro tier at 533 per month billed annually. Enterprise buyers are not targeted. Buyers who need a customer portal should price Pro rather than Starter, since the portal is an add-on below that tier. And if crews work in dead zones, treat offline as an open question: it is absent from both the homepage and the full feature matrix.

Typical use cases: residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical businesses with larger back-office headcount; appliance repair and garage door operations with many light-touch users; and multi-trade service companies that want one flat software bill rather than a seat count to police.

Alternatives

Housecall Pro Housecall Pro A cheaper entry for small teams at 59 per month billed annually for 1 user, with its currency stated as USD, a 14-day no-card trial and Recurring Service Plans covering the maintenance-agreement gap in the Service Fusion tier matrix. Per-seat above 8 users, so the economics flip for user-heavy shops.
FieldEdge Xplor Technologies The alternative when service agreements must be tracked, billed and renewed in the field system, and when QuickBooks needs real-time two-way sync across Desktop and Online. Quote-only with no free trial, so you lose the ability to budget from a published figure.
Jobber Jobber Better for very small teams where unlimited users is not worth 208 per month. Published pricing from 29 per month, a documented GraphQL API included rather than gated to a top tier, and Xero support. Published plans stop at 15 users and offline is unresolved.
FieldPulse Flicent Inc. Comparable SMB residential trades scope with maintenance agreements and a customer portal included rather than add-ons, and far better offline evidence: Service Fusion does not mention offline anywhere on its homepage or in its full tier matrix. Pricing is seat-based and quote-only.
Zuper Zuper Inc. Worth comparing for integration breadth, since it names Salesforce, HubSpot, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Stripe and Teams where Service Fusion names QuickBooks and gates its own API to the Pro tier. Offsetting that, Zuper has no pricing page at all and its offline claim is a bare label.

Frequently asked questions

Published: Starter 208, Plus 325 and Pro 533 per month billed annually, or 245, 382 and 627 month-to-month, each for unlimited users. The currency is shown only as a dollar sign, so USD is inferred from the vendor being US-based rather than stated. Note that several capabilities are paid add-ons on the lower tiers.

No. All three tiers are explicitly unlimited users, which is the distinguishing feature of this product commercially. For a business with substantial office headcount alongside its technicians, that can be far cheaper than the per-seat competitors in this category.

Open API Integration is included on the Pro tier only, and no public API documentation was found, so the documentation quality could not be assessed. QuickBooks is included on every tier.
