Service Fusion Alternatives

Service Fusion is all-in-one cloud field service management for small and mid-sized service businesses, and its distinguishing feature is commercial rather than functional: flat rate with unlimited users on every tier. Published figures billed annually are Starter 208 per month, Plus 325 and Pro 533, with month-to-month at 245, 382 and 627 and the annual option described as saving 15 percent, charged as one annual payment at sign-up. In a category where almost everything is priced per technician or per seat, that structure can be dramatically cheaper for a business with office staff as well as technicians, or one that staffs up and down seasonally. The currency is inferred rather than stated: the page shows a bare dollar sign with no ISO code, and USD is inferred from Service Fusion being a US vendor based in Dallas selling into the US and Canada.

The most common reason buyers shop around is that the 208 entry figure buys less than the feature list suggests. The customer web portal is an add-on on Starter and Plus and included only on Pro. Inventory management is an add-on on Starter. eSign is an add-on on Starter and Plus. GPS fleet tracking is an add-on on all three tiers. Open API Integration is Pro only, at 533 per month billed annually. QuickBooks is the one item included on every tier. A realistic configuration therefore sits well above the headline.

Two genuine capability gaps also push buyers elsewhere. No service agreement or contract management row appears anywhere in the tier matrix or on the homepage, which is a real shortfall against ServiceTitan and FieldEdge for maintenance-plan businesses, though it is recorded as unverified rather than a confirmed absence. And offline is unverified: neither the homepage nor the full tier feature matrix mentions offline at all, and the matrix lists no offline row on any tier. Offline is claimed only on vendor-authored competitor-comparison pages that were not opened directly. Given how often offline is overstated in this market, that silence is a demo question rather than something to assume either way.

Weigh the real strengths before switching: automatic route planning with real-time adjustment plus real-time vehicle tracking without a separate telematics vendor, and very wide trade coverage across more than 25 trade-specific solution pages. Note also that there is no stated free trial; evaluation is via demo only, and a demo is not a trial.

The alternatives, and why they are here

Selected on capability and use case rather than on sharing a category label. Each entry says what actually differs.

Cloud home-service software for trades contractors covering scheduling, dispatch, GPS route optimisation, estimates, invoicing, payments, a customer portal and recurring service plans. The only product in this category that states its pricing currency.

Why consider it: A cheaper entry for small teams at 59 per month billed annually for 1 user, with its currency stated as USD, a 14-day no-card trial and Recurring Service Plans covering the maintenance-agreement gap in the Service Fusion tier matrix. Per-seat above 8 users, so the economics flip for user-heavy shops.

FieldEdge

Xplor Technologies

View profile

Cloud field service software for multi-truck SMB and mid-market trades contractors, built around real-time two-way QuickBooks sync. Owned by Xplor Technologies. Quote-only pricing and no free trial, stated by the vendor.

Why consider it: The alternative when service agreements must be tracked, billed and renewed in the field system, and when QuickBooks needs real-time two-way sync across Desktop and Online. Quote-only with no free trial, so you lose the ability to budget from a published figure.

Cloud home-service and trades software combining quoting, scheduling, dispatch, a client portal, invoicing and payments for small contractors. Fully published self-serve pricing from 29 per month and a documented GraphQL API.

Why consider it: Better for very small teams where unlimited users is not worth 208 per month. Published pricing from 29 per month, a documented GraphQL API included rather than gated to a top tier, and Xero support. Published plans stop at 15 users and offline is unresolved.

FieldPulse

Flicent Inc.

View profile

Cloud field service management for US residential trades contractors and franchises, with the most mechanically specific offline mode among the small-contractor products here. Seat-based pricing, quote only.

Why consider it: Comparable SMB residential trades scope with maintenance agreements and a customer portal included rather than add-ons, and far better offline evidence: Service Fusion does not mention offline anywhere on its homepage or in its full tier matrix. Pricing is seat-based and quote-only.

Zuper

Zuper Inc.

View profile

Cloud field service management for small and mid-size service contractors, positioned around AI agents. Notable for the widest named integration surface among the small-contractor products here, including both QuickBooks and Xero. No pricing page exists.

Why consider it: Worth comparing for integration breadth, since it names Salesforce, HubSpot, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Stripe and Teams where Service Fusion names QuickBooks and gates its own API to the Pro tier. Offsetting that, Zuper has no pricing page at all and its offline claim is a bare label.

What this page is not

This is not a ranking and there is no single best alternative. The right choice depends on what you are replacing and why, which is why each entry states a specific reason rather than a score. Capability values come from each product's structured profile, where anything unverified is labelled as such rather than assumed.
