Eptura Workplace
by Eptura Rebranded
Eptura Workplace is the former iOffice, renamed in 2023. A workplace and space led application covering floor plan management with AutoCAD, block and stack planning, move management, service request ticketing and utilisation analytics.
What it is
If you are researching iOffice, this is the product. Eptura own legacy page says it in plain words: iOffice is now Eptura Workplace, and in 2023 iOffice became Eptura Workplace. Note the capitalisation, which Eptura renders as iOffice rather than the iOFFICE styling that circulates in directories. The rename is complete and the product is a current, separately named application in the Eptura platform.
Understanding Eptura portfolio is essential before evaluating this product, because the scope boundaries are unusual and easy to get wrong. Eptura markets platform apps Eptura Asset, Eptura Engage, Eptura Workplace, Eptura Visitor and Envision, plus specialised solutions Archibus and Serraview, with Eptura AI, Eptura MCP and Eptura API as cross cutting layers. Eptura Workplace is therefore one app among several, not the whole platform.
What it actually does is space and workplace operations. Eptura states floor plan and drawing management loaded and managed with AutoCAD, block and stack planning, a Space Neighborhoods concept, move planning and coordination, service request ticketing spanning maintenance, cleaning, IT, copy and print and mail, and utilisation analytics across locations. Occupancy integration names VergeSense and Relogix sensors.
Now the boundaries that catch buyers out. Desk and room booking is not in Eptura Workplace. It sits in Eptura Engage, a separate app, and Outlook and Teams integration is named for Engage rather than for Workplace. Maintenance, work orders and preventive maintenance are not in Eptura Workplace either. They are in Eptura Asset, which Eptura describes as EAM built to scale, with smart work orders and preventive schedules, asset lifecycle tracking from commissioning to retirement, standardised inspections, inventory, purchasing and kitting, condition monitoring, fleet telematics, a cloud SaaS deployment hosted on Microsoft Azure, and Autodesk Tandem, Revit and AutoCAD integration. So a buyer who needs work orders, preventive maintenance and space in one purchase must license at least two Eptura apps.
The mobile position is also narrower than it first looks. Eptura Workplace has a mobile application, but it is scoped to mailroom operations with proof of delivery, not field maintenance. That is a real capability, but it is not a technician app.
Disclosure is thin for a product of this standing. There is no public documentation for Eptura Workplace. Deployment model is not explicitly stated on the product page: it is clearly a SaaS platform, but no cloud or on premise statement was captured, so this profile records deployment as unknown rather than assuming. Target organisation size is not stated. No price is published; Eptura pricing page carries comparison tables with no currency amounts and at verification still contained unfinished placeholder text. There is no trial, only a demo. Integration disclosure on the Workplace page names IoT occupancy sensors, generic platform APIs without specifying REST, AutoCAD, and ServiceNow, while Revit is explicitly not claimed for this app.
One further caution: the floor plan workflow depends on AutoCAD. If your drawings are Revit native and you have no AutoCAD capability in the team, probe that carefully.

Strengths and limitations
Strengths
- Eptura states the lineage plainly on its own legacy page: iOffice is now Eptura Workplace, and became so in 2023, which makes older iOffice research traceable to a current product. verified source
- Specific space planning depth including block and stack planning, Space Neighborhoods and AutoCAD based floor plan management, plus named occupancy sensor integrations with VergeSense and Relogix. verified source
Limitations
- A buyer needing work orders and preventive maintenance alongside space must license at least two Eptura apps, because the Workplace page states no maintenance or work order module and those sit in Eptura Asset. verified source
- Desk and room booking is not in Eptura Workplace; it is in the separate Eptura Engage app, where Outlook and Teams integration is named. verified source
- The mobile application is scoped to mailroom operations with proof of delivery, not field maintenance. verified source
- No public documentation, no stated deployment model on the product page and no stated target organisation size, which makes pre purchase assessment unusually dependent on the sales process. editorial
Who it suits
Organisation sizes: Medium, Enterprise
Eptura Workplace fits corporate workplace and space planning teams that already have, or are willing to buy, the rest of what they need elsewhere. The strongest fit is a space planning function that maintains AutoCAD drawings as the authoritative record and needs block and stack planning, move coordination and utilisation analytics across a multi location office estate.
It fits organisations running a return to office or hybrid work programme where the question is how much space is actually used and how it should be reconfigured. Utilisation analytics across locations, Space Neighborhoods for team based allocation, and VergeSense or Relogix occupancy sensor integration cover that chain. If you also need desk and room booking, budget for Eptura Engage.
It fits estates with a significant mailroom and internal logistics operation better than its competitors do. Mail room service requests plus a mobile app with proof of delivery is a specific, unglamorous capability that most workplace products ignore entirely, and it matters in large corporate headquarters, law firms and universities.
Eptura Workplace does not fit anyone buying a CAFM or maintenance system. Work orders, preventive maintenance, SLA management, contractor management, asset registers, procurement and lease operations are all absent from this app. They are in Eptura Asset or Archibus. Treating Eptura Workplace as a CAFM would be a category error, and any proposal implying otherwise should be questioned.
It does not fit a buyer who wants a single SKU for workplace management either. Booking is in Engage, visitors in Eptura Visitor, maintenance in Eptura Asset, and deeper real estate and lease work in Archibus. A full workplace brief will usually mean two to four Eptura apps, each priced separately on a page that publishes no amounts. Model that cost before shortlisting.
It is also a weak fit where Revit is the drawing standard, since Eptura ties the floor plan workflow to AutoCAD for this app and names Revit only for Eptura Asset. And it is a poor fit for teams needing a field maintenance mobile app, which this product does not provide.
Typical use cases. Space inventory and floor plan management for a multi location office estate maintained in AutoCAD. Block and stack scenario planning ahead of a lease event or consolidation. Departmental move planning and coordination. Occupancy measurement with third party sensors feeding utilisation reporting. Employee service request intake across maintenance, cleaning, IT, print and mail. Mailroom operations with delivery tracking and proof of delivery.
Watch for. Which Eptura apps are actually in the quote, and the total of them. That iOffice and Eptura Workplace are the same thing, so older iOffice research and reviews describe this product. That booking and maintenance are separate purchases. Written confirmation of deployment model and data residency, which the product page does not state. Whether the AutoCAD dependency is a problem for your drawing estate. And the unfinished state of the Eptura pricing page, which is not a basis for budgeting.

Frequently asked questions
Not under that name. Eptura states on its own legacy page that iOffice is now Eptura Workplace and that iOffice became Eptura Workplace in 2023. Note Eptura spells it iOffice rather than the iOFFICE styling used in many directories.
No. Booking sits in Eptura Engage, a separate app, which is also where Outlook and Teams integration is named. If you need booking as well as space planning, that is two licences.
No. The Workplace page states service request ticketing but no work order or preventive maintenance module. Eptura puts those in Eptura Asset, which it describes as EAM built to scale, hosted on Microsoft Azure, with smart work orders, preventive schedules, inspections, inventory and purchasing.
Eptura describes loading and managing floor plans and drawings with AutoCAD, and does not claim Revit or BIM for this app. If your drawings are Revit native, probe that dependency before committing.
