Jobber Alternatives
Jobber is a complete back office for a small contractor: quote, schedule, route, invoice, take payment, with accounting pushed out to QuickBooks or Xero. It is one of the easiest products in field service to evaluate without talking to anyone, because the pricing is fully published and self-serve, from 29 per month for Core with 1 user billed annually, 39 on a one-year commitment and 49 with no commitment, with extra users at 29 per month each. There is a 14-day trial with no credit card and full access to Grow plan features, and no free plan. Note the currency is a bare dollar sign with no ISO code, so USD is inferred from the US-targeted page rather than stated, and Jobber is a Canadian company, so other locale pricing may exist.
People look for alternatives for three recurring reasons. The first is team size: published plans stop at 15 users, above which the page routes to Contact Sales, so growing businesses leave the self-serve model entirely. The second is finance integration: accounting sync is one-way out of Jobber with named gaps, since Jobber Payments tips do not sync to Xero and overpayments must be reconciled by hand, and no SAP, Oracle, Business Central or NetSuite connectors were found, so it is not a fit where the field app must feed a corporate ERP. If sync direction is the live question, one-way versus two-way sync is the useful background.
The third and most important reason is offline working. Jobber offline status is unresolved on Jobber own sources, and this directory records it as unverified rather than picking a side. A Jobber product update dated 18 March 2026 is titled Keep working in Jobber, even without internet, and opens by referencing basements, new-build sites and rural areas. But a Jobber Support Team reply on Jobber own community states the app does not support offline capabilities, with the exception of internal notes, and that files cannot be attached offline, while the help centre states that to use both the app and the website you do need an internet connection. The product update page itself returned 403, so its shipped scope could not be established. Verify directly with Jobber before buying for low-coverage work, or shortlist a product that documents its offline behaviour.
The alternatives below are chosen on those axes: user economics, accounting and ERP fit, and offline evidence. Jobber real strength, a documented GraphQL API with OAuth 2.0, a version header, cursor pagination and published rate limits, is rare at this price point, so weigh that before you move.

The alternatives, and why they are here
Selected on capability and use case rather than on sharing a category label. Each entry says what actually differs.
Housecall Pro
Housecall Pro
Cloud home-service software for trades contractors covering scheduling, dispatch, GPS route optimisation, estimates, invoicing, payments, a customer portal and recurring service plans. The only product in this category that states its pricing currency.
Why consider it: The most direct swap. Same market, same self-serve model, same 14-day no-card trial. Housecall Pro starts higher at 59 per month billed annually but includes 5 or 8 users on its upper tiers, states its currency as USD rather than leaving it inferred, and adds Recurring Service Plans. Its offline is read-only caching, with editing offline explicitly unsupported.

- USD 59 per month, Basic plan, 1 user, billed annually
FieldPulse
Flicent Inc.
Cloud field service management for US residential trades contractors and franchises, with the most mechanically specific offline mode among the small-contractor products here. Seat-based pricing, quote only.
Why consider it: The alternative to pick if your crews lose signal. FieldPulse documents offline mechanically, switching automatically on weak signal or Airplane Mode and saving locally before syncing, where Jobber own sources contradict each other on whether offline works at all. Pricing is seat-based but quote-only.

Service Fusion
Service Fusion
All-in-one cloud field service management for small and mid-sized service businesses, distinguished by flat-rate pricing with unlimited users. Published prices from 208 per month billed annually.
Why consider it: Better economics once you have several office staff as well as technicians, since all three tiers are unlimited users from 208 per month billed annually rather than 29 per extra user. Read the tier matrix first: portal, inventory, eSign, GPS tracking and API access are add-ons or Pro-only.

FieldEdge
Xplor Technologies
Cloud field service software for multi-truck SMB and mid-market trades contractors, built around real-time two-way QuickBooks sync. Owned by Xplor Technologies. Quote-only pricing and no free trial, stated by the vendor.
Why consider it: A step up for multi-truck operations whose accounting lives in QuickBooks, with real-time two-way sync across both Desktop and Online where Jobber sync is one-way out with known gaps on tips and overpayments. No published price, and the vendor states there is no free trial.

ServiceTitan
ServiceTitan, Inc.
Cloud software for residential and commercial trade contractors with an unusually broad footprint from call booking to job costing. Publicly listed on Nasdaq since December 2024. Per-technician pricing with no published figures.
Why consider it: The platform to move to when you outgrow the 15-user ceiling on Jobber published plans. Far broader footprint including inventory, purchasing, job costing and payroll, plus Nasdaq filings for vendor diligence. Heavier than Jobber for the same single-truck work, and entirely quote-only.

What this page is not
This is not a ranking and there is no single best alternative. The right choice depends on what you are replacing and why, which is why each entry states a specific reason rather than a score. Capability values come from each product's structured profile, where anything unverified is labelled as such rather than assumed.
Prefer a direct head-to-head? Build a side-by-side comparison.
