HRMS and HCM Software · HCM suite
PeopleStrong
by PeopleStrong
India origin AI powered HCM suite spanning core HR, payroll, talent acquisition and talent management, sold mainly to large enterprises in Asia and the Middle East. Its MEA site states UAE payroll including WPS.
What it is
A naming note first. PeopleStrong publishes no single umbrella product name. Its homepage describes an AI powered HCM suite organised as four suites: HCM, Payroll and Workforce Management, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management. This entry therefore uses the company name as the product name, since that is how PeopleStrong markets it.
Ownership did change and the brief did not mention it. PeopleStrong own press release, dated Gurugram 15 April 2025, states that Goldman Sachs Alternatives private equity business has acquired a majority stake. The release names no seller, no price and no other investors, although it quotes a managing director at Multiples Private Equity. Press reporting of the seller identity and deal size was not relied on here. No rename or discontinuation was found and the product is actively marketed with 2025 content and live demo calls to action.
On UAE payroll, PeopleStrong does name it, and it is the only product in its research batch that does. Its MEA payroll page is titled for UAE, Dubai and the Middle East, and its FAQ states that the engine covers UAE labour law, MOHRE and the Wage Protection System. That is explicit, first party and names WPS. The caveats are real though: it is a single FAQ sentence, there is no detail on SIF generation, GOSI, gratuity or end of service benefits, no Saudi specific detail, and the page does not say whether delivery is native or through a partner. Separately, PeopleStrong global payroll page does not mention the UAE or WPS at all, and its main payroll page names Indian statutory items such as TDS, EPF, ESI and Form 16. The recommended wording is narrow: the vendor states UAE payroll including WPS on its MEA site. Do not widen that to the GCC.
Verified capabilities include employee records, time and attendance, leave, employee self service, compliance through automated engines that update for changing tax and labour rules, open APIs and a mobile app. Recruitment, onboarding, performance and learning exist as named modules in the site navigation, which is weaker evidence than a read module page but is still vendor stated. Benefits administration is not evidenced; a separate Compensation module exists, and compensation is not benefits. The Workforce Management suite is time and attendance rather than workforce planning.
No pricing is published and no pricing page was found; the site is demo led throughout. Worth noting as a data quality signal: PeopleStrong own stated customer counts and integration counts are self inconsistent across its pages, with 500 plus and 400 plus large enterprises appearing in different places and integration counts given as both 2200 plus and 4000 plus.
Capabilities
Each capability carries its own verification status. “Not verified” means exactly that: it has not been checked, and must not be read as absent.
| Capability | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Mobile app A mobile application for employees and managers. | Yes | source |
| Documented API A publicly documented API for integration. | Yes | Described as open APIs. The word REST is not used, and the api-docs site itself was not opened so its public readability is unconfirmed. source |
| Compliance and reporting Statutory reporting and compliance documentation. | Yes | Automated engines that update for changing tax and labour rules. Partial claim rather than a country by country compliance statement. source |
| Employee self-service Employees maintaining their own data and requests. | Yes | source |
| Learning management Course delivery, assignment and completion tracking. | Yes | Named module in site navigation; the module page itself was not opened. source |
| Performance management Goals, reviews and appraisal cycles. | Yes | Named module in site navigation; the module page itself was not opened. source |
| Onboarding Structured onboarding workflows and document collection. | Yes | Named module in site navigation; the module page itself was not opened. source |
| Recruitment and ATS Vacancy management and applicant tracking. | Yes | Named module in site navigation; the module page itself was not opened. source |
| Leave management Leave entitlement, accrual, requests and approvals. | Yes | source |
| Time and attendance Clocking, shift patterns and overtime calculation. | Yes | source |
| UAE and GCC payroll Payroll specifically supporting UAE or GCC requirements, named by the vendor. Not inferred from global coverage claims. | Yes | Vendor stated but thinly. The MEA payroll page FAQ states that the engine covers UAE labour law, MOHRE and the Wage Protection System. It rests on a single FAQ sentence, with no SIF generation, GOSI, gratuity or end of service detail, no Saudi specifics, and no statement of whether delivery is native or partner. PeopleStrong global payroll page does not mention the UAE or WPS. Do not widen this to the GCC. source |
| Payroll processing Native payroll calculation and payment runs, in at least one jurisdiction. | Yes | Indian statutory items are named explicitly: TDS, EPF, ESI and Form 16. source |
| Employee records A central employee record with history and documents. | Yes | source |
| Workforce planning Headcount planning, org modelling and forecasting. | Not verified | The Workforce Management suite is time and attendance, not workforce planning. |
| Benefits administration Benefit plans, enrolment and deductions. | Not verified | A separate Compensation module exists. Compensation is not benefits administration, so this stays unknown. |
| Manager self-service Managers approving and viewing their team data. | Not verified | Not evidenced. |

Strengths and limitations
Strengths
- PeopleStrong names UAE labour law, MOHRE and the Wage Protection System on its own MEA payroll page, which puts it among the minority of products here that name the UAE at all. verified source
Limitations
- The UAE and WPS claim rests on a single FAQ sentence, with no SIF, GOSI, gratuity or Saudi detail, and the global payroll page is India statutory in focus and does not mention the UAE. verified source
- Stated customer and integration counts are self inconsistent across PeopleStrong own pages, with both 500 plus and 400 plus enterprises and both 2200 plus and 4000 plus integrations appearing. verified source
- An enterprise weight vendor whose UAE depth is asserted rather than demonstrated. Make SIF output, gratuity and the native versus partner question the first items in any demo. editorial
Who it suits
Organisation sizes: Medium, Enterprise
PeopleStrong suits large enterprises in Asia and the Middle East, particularly India headquartered groups with Gulf operations, that want one AI oriented HCM suite rather than best of breed modules. It also markets a track for fast growing businesses, so mid sized employers are in scope.
For a UAE buyer it earns a place on a longlist on the strength of its named UAE and WPS claim, but not yet a shortlist on the strength of the evidence. One FAQ sentence covering UAE labour law, MOHRE and WPS is a real claim and better than the silence most products offer, but it is thin next to Oracle documented WPS report, Ramco UAE product page or Darwinbox operational detail on Resolution 340. There is no statement about SIF file generation, no gratuity or end of service treatment, no Saudi detail, and no disclosure of whether UAE payroll is run natively or through a partner. A buyer should make those four questions the first agenda item of any demo.
Other practical gaps: no published pricing or trial, so evaluation is sales led from the start; benefits administration, manager self service and workforce planning are unevidenced; the API is described as open rather than REST and the documentation site public readability was not confirmed; and the self inconsistent customer and integration counts are a reason to verify any quantitative claim made in a pitch.
Typical use cases: Indian and Asian large enterprises with Gulf entities; groups wanting core HR, payroll, recruitment and talent from one vendor across several countries; organisations attracted by the AI and automation positioning. Less typical: UAE only SMEs, buyers who need demonstrated WPS SIF output on day one, and anyone needing published pricing.

Frequently asked questions
PeopleStrong states on its MEA payroll page that its engine covers UAE labour law, MOHRE and the Wage Protection System. That is explicit vendor evidence naming WPS. It is however a single FAQ sentence: there is no statement about salary information file generation, gratuity or end of service benefits, no Saudi detail, and no disclosure of whether payroll is run natively or through a partner. Its global payroll page does not mention the UAE at all.
PeopleStrong own press release dated 15 April 2025 states that Goldman Sachs Alternatives private equity business has acquired a majority stake. The release names no seller, price or other investors. Press reported details of the seller and the deal size were not verified and are not published here.
