What it is

The vendor question is answered, with a caveat. The WorkInSync pricing page carries the copyright line "MoveInSync 2026" and its FAQ refers to "the MoveInSync team", so MoveInSync is the company behind WorkInSync. The page does not explicitly state the relationship between the two names, whether WorkInSync is a MoveInSync product line, a subsidiary brand or a renamed acquisition, so the ownership is established but the corporate structure is not. MoveInSync is primarily known for employee transport and commute management, which makes WorkInSync a workplace extension of a mobility business rather than a pure-play workplace vendor.

WorkInSync publishes three priced plans, all per user per month and all billed annually: Standard at 1.79, Professional at 2.69 and Enterprise at 3.59. These are the lowest published per-user rates in this category by a clear margin, roughly half deskbird. The page prints a bare dollar symbol with no ISO currency code, so the currency is inferred as USD from the symbol alone, with no regional heading to corroborate it; given the vendor is India-headquartered this inference is weaker than it would be for a United States vendor and should be confirmed. A monthly billing toggle exists but shows no monthly figures, so the monthly rates are unverified.

There is no free plan. The trial position is unusually restrictive: the FAQ states that a free trial is available only for the Enterprise plan, and describes it as a 7-day trial. So the cheapest plans cannot be trialled at all, and the trial that does exist is short and attached to the most expensive tier.

Only the pricing page was read in depth during this pass, so the capability evidence for WorkInSync is thin. Desk and room booking are implied by the product category and positioning but were not individually verified against vendor feature statements, and floor plans, occupancy analytics, visitor management, sensors, utilisation reporting, wayfinding, multi-site handling, API availability and Outlook or Teams integration depth are all recorded as unknown. Anyone shortlisting WorkInSync on price alone should establish the feature set and particularly the Microsoft calendar behaviour directly with the vendor, because the price advantage over deskbird or Skedda means little if the integration depth differs.

NoteThree priced plans, all per user per month billed annually: Standard 1.79, Professional 2.69, Enterprise 3.59. CURRENCY IS INFERRED. The page prints a bare dollar symbol with no ISO code and no regional heading to corroborate it; USD is inferred from the symbol alone. The vendor, MoveInSync, is India-headquartered, which makes this inference weaker than for a United States vendor, so confirm the billing currency with the vendor. A monthly billing toggle exists but displays no monthly figures, so monthly rates are unverified. No free plan. The FAQ states a free trial is available only for the Enterprise plan and describes it as a 7-day trial, so the cheaper plans cannot be trialled.

Strengths and limitations

Strengths

  • The lowest published per-user pricing in this category, at 1.79 per user per month on the Standard plan billed annually, roughly half the published deskbird rate. verified source

Limitations

  • The free trial is available only on the Enterprise plan and lasts 7 days, so the cheaper plans most buyers would purchase cannot be evaluated before committing. verified source
  • Thinly evidenced on features. Only the pricing page was verified, so every capability including Outlook and Teams behaviour is unknown. The price advantage cannot be weighed against better-documented competitors without your own evaluation. editorial
  • The pricing page prints a bare dollar symbol with no ISO currency code and no regional heading, and the vendor is India-headquartered, so the billing currency is genuinely uncertain. verified source

Who it suits

Organisation sizes: Small, Medium, Enterprise

WorkInSync is worth a look where price per user is the dominant constraint and the requirement is basic. At a published 1.79 per user per month on annual billing it undercuts everything else in this category that publishes a figure, and for a large headcount that difference compounds quickly. Organisations already using MoveInSync for employee transport have an additional reason to look, since commute and workplace attendance are naturally related problems and a single vendor may reduce integration work. That adjacency is the most plausible strategic fit for this product.

Three cautions. First, the trial restriction is real: only the Enterprise plan can be trialled, for 7 days, so you cannot evaluate the Standard or Professional plans you would actually buy. Second, the currency is inferred from a bare dollar symbol with no corroborating regional heading, and the vendor is India-headquartered, so confirm what you will actually be invoiced in. Third, and most importantly, the capability evidence here is thin. This directory verified the commercial facts and almost nothing else, so the burden of establishing whether the product does what you need falls on your own evaluation.

Do not assume parity with better-documented competitors. deskbird at roughly twice the price publishes SCIM, SAML, FIDO2, named HRIS integrations and an Outlook add-in; none of that is verified for WorkInSync. The price gap may reflect a genuine capability gap, or it may not, and this profile cannot tell you which.

Typical use cases: cost-sensitive large-headcount hybrid deployments, organisations already using MoveInSync for employee commute management, and basic desk booking where enterprise identity plumbing is not a requirement.

Alternatives

deskbird deskbird The obvious comparison and the one to make if evidence matters as much as price. Roughly double the published rate at USD 3.75 per active user per month annually, but documented in depth: SCIM provisioning, SAML 2.0 and FIDO2 SSO, Entra ID and Okta, named HRIS integrations including Workday and SAP SuccessFactors, native Teams use and a Microsoft Outlook add-in. For WorkInSync none of that is verified, so the price gap may reflect a capability gap, or may not.
Skedda Skedda A different pricing axis that can beat per-user outright: per bookable space from 99 per month for 15 spaces in EMEA and APAC, which wins where you have few spaces and many people. Also offers a free 14-day trial on Premium, where WorkInSync restricts trials to the Enterprise plan for 7 days. Carry the caveat: Skedda documents Outlook calendar sync for availability and nowhere states bookings can be created or cancelled from Outlook or Teams.
Joan Visionect d.o.o. The other low-commitment published-pricing option, with a 30-day free trial and no commitment, and plans that bundle users and devices from 221.18 AED per month as served by geolocation. Best where room displays are the real need, since the software runs on any display and e-paper panels need no cabling. What does not carry over is per-user economics: extra devices cost roughly ten times extra users, so screen count drives cost. Outlook and Teams evidence is absent here too.
Envoy Workplace Envoy More expensive but far better evidenced, with per-module list prices explicitly in USD rather than inferred, a genuine free Visitors Basic plan, visitor and contractor screening, interactive live maps, deliveries and room screens, and a statement that bookings can start from calendar invites. What does not carry over: Reservations is priced per bookable resource rather than per user, module prices exclude an undisclosed platform fee, and space allocation is not described.
Microsoft Places Microsoft Potentially the cheapest route of all if you already hold the right Microsoft 365 licences, since core features including work plans and workplace presence ship with Business Basic, Standard and Premium, E1, E3, E5, A-series and F1 and F3. It is also the only product here with verified calendar-native booking. What does not carry over: individual desk booking needs a space licence per desk at a price Microsoft does not publish, and setup is Exchange administration through PowerShell 7.4 or later.

Frequently asked questions

MoveInSync. The WorkInSync pricing page carries a MoveInSync 2026 copyright line and its FAQ refers to the MoveInSync team. The page does not explain the exact corporate relationship between the two names.

Standard 1.79, Professional 2.69 and Enterprise 3.59 per user per month, billed annually. The page shows a bare dollar symbol with no ISO currency code, so the currency is inferred and should be confirmed with the vendor.

Only on the Enterprise plan, and only for 7 days according to the vendor FAQ. There is no free plan and no trial on the Standard or Professional plans.
