Field Service Management Software · Scheduling and dispatch
Skedulo
by Skedulo
Scheduling and dispatch platform for frontline and deskless workforces, covering both job-based field scheduling and shift rostering. Designed to sit alongside an existing CRM or ERP rather than replace it. Demo-gated, no published pricing.
What it is
This is a scheduling layer, not a full field service back office, and that distinction is the whole point of the product. Skedulo describes using integrations, APIs and events to exchange data with CRM, HR, payroll and other business systems, and its own worked examples show workflows that update a work order in Salesforce. It ships a Salesforce managed package that sets up the data structures in the CRM, supports API calls from Apex, and documents SSO through a Salesforce custom domain. In honesty, Skedulo also presents itself as a system of record for work and people data and does not state how responsibility divides with a CRM or ERP, so it is not strictly CRM-dependent. But a buyer evaluating it against Jobber or ServiceTitan is comparing different things: those replace your back office, this schedules against one you keep.
The platform layer is called Pulse Platform, with shipped modules named Tempo for AI scheduling, Field for field scheduling and routing with an optimiser called Mastermind, Shift for rostering, and Mobile for the technician app. Covering both job-based dispatch and shift rostering in one platform is genuinely unusual and matters where the same workforce is both rostered and dispatched, for example healthcare and human services, which is a named vertical alongside home services, telecommunications, energy and solar, security and facilities, inspections and safety, and manufacturing.
Two things stand out as unusually good. First, the developer platform is complete and public: GraphQL with an interactive explorer, a REST API reference, an object reference, a CLI, Functions and sample repositories. Very few FSM products expose this much. Second, offline is documented with bounded, specific scope rather than asserted. Offline edits to job details and notes queue in a visible Pending changes tab and sync automatically on reconnect, with a banner when connection drops and data retained when the app is backgrounded or the user logs out.
- Nothing commercial is published. The pricing page carries no figures, no plan names, no licensing wording and no trial. The only call to action is Book a Demo, with a promised reply within one business day. Booking a demo is not a trial.
- There is no public integration catalogue. Skedulo refers only to supported integrations, APIs and events, and the 121 integrations tile on its platform page is part of a mockup, not a factual count. Buyers cannot pre-check connector fit.
- Two mobile app generations run in parallel, with the current one called Skedulo Plus and the older v2 offline guide sitting under a Deprecated heading. That is a migration question to ask.
Capabilities
Each capability carries its own verification status. “Not verified” means exactly that: it has not been checked, and must not be read as absent.
| Capability | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Documented API A publicly documented API for integration. | Yes | Complete public developer platform: GraphQL with quickstart and interactive explorer, a REST API reference, object reference, CLI, Functions and sample code repositories. source |
| Workforce and crew management Timesheets, crews, certifications and workforce administration. | Yes | Shift coverage planning, offers and swaps, worked-time review, rostering via the Shift module, and time tracking in the mobile app. source |
| Work order management Work order lifecycle from request to completion. | Yes | Work and workforce records, with work orders appearing in its workflow examples. source |
| Offline working Creating and completing work with no connectivity, and syncing on reconnection. | Yes | Documented with bounded scope, which is why it is credible. Offline edits to job details and notes queue in a visible Pending changes tab and sync automatically on reconnect; a banner warns when connection drops; data is retained when the app is backgrounded or the user logs out. The older v2 app documented offline caching of the first 1,000 accounts, contacts, locations and regions per type, but that page sits under a Deprecated heading. source |
| Technician mobile app A dedicated mobile application for field technicians. | Yes | Mobile module covering jobs, shifts, forms, messaging and time tracking. The current app generation is Skedulo Plus. source |
| Route optimisation Optimising travel between jobs across a working day. | Yes | The Mastermind optimiser helps optimise schedules and routes. Note that the travel-time savings figures shown on the page are illustrative mockups, not measured results. source |
| Scheduling and optimisation Scheduling work against availability, skills and capacity. | Yes | Field and Shift modules match jobs to people by skills, availability, location and travel time. source |
| Dispatch and assignment Assigning jobs to technicians and managing the dispatch board. | Yes | Tempo works alongside schedulers and dispatchers; dispatchers are a named user role. source |
| SLA management Measuring response and resolution against service levels. | Not verified | Not mentioned on the vendor pages opened. |
| GPS and vehicle tracking Vehicle or technician location tracking. | Not verified | Not mentioned on the platform page; locations appear only as data objects. Absence recorded as unknown, not as absent. |
| Invoicing and payments Invoicing from completed work and taking payment. | Not verified | Not verified on the vendor site. |
| Quoting and estimating Producing quotes and estimates for customer work. | Not verified | Not verified on the vendor site. |

| Note | The Skedulo pricing page contains no pricing figures, no plan or package names, no licensing wording and no trial wording. The sole call to action is Book a Demo, with a promised reply within one business day. The licensing model itself is therefore unknown: no per-user or per-job basis is stated anywhere. A demo is not a trial, so free_trial remains unknown rather than being recorded as yes. |

Strengths and limitations
Strengths
- Complete public developer platform covering GraphQL, REST, webhooks, a CLI, object reference and sample repositories, rare at this level of completeness in field service. verified source
- Offline behaviour is documented with explicit bounded scope including a user-visible pending-changes queue, rather than a bare marketing claim that it works offline. verified source
- Covers both job-based field scheduling and shift rostering in one platform, which is unusual and valuable where the same workforce is both rostered and dispatched. verified source
- Designed to slot in beside an existing CRM or ERP rather than replace it, which suits organisations that already have a system of record they will not move. editorial
Limitations
- No published pricing and no trial. Buying is demo-gated only. verified source
- No named integration catalogue on the public site, and the 121 integrations tile on the platform page is part of a mockup rather than a factual count, so connector fit cannot be pre-checked. verified source
- Two mobile app generations are documented in parallel and the v2 offline guide sits under a Deprecated heading, which is a migration consideration. verified source
- Quoting, invoicing and billing are unverified on the vendor site, so it is unlikely to serve as a standalone back office for a service business. editorial
Who it suits
Organisation sizes: Medium, Enterprise
Good fit: mid-market and enterprise organisations with a frontline or deskless workforce who already have a system of record they are not going to move, most obviously Salesforce. The Salesforce managed package makes that pairing concrete. It is the best fit in this category when the same people are both rostered into shifts and dispatched to jobs, because Field and Shift are both first-class rather than one being bolted onto the other. Engineering-capable teams will get real value from the GraphQL, REST, webhook and CLI surface, which is more complete than most competitors offer.
Poor fit: small businesses, which Skedulo shows no evidence of targeting. Also a poor fit as a standalone back office: quoting, invoicing, inventory, service contracts and customer portal were all unverifiable on the vendor site, which suggests the product is not trying to be the system that bills your customers. If you need one product to take a job from quote to cash, look at the trades products in this category instead. Finally, it is a poor fit for buyers who need to shortlist on published price or to self-serve a trial, because neither exists.
Typical use cases: healthcare and human services visit scheduling, telecoms and energy field scheduling against an existing CRM, inspections and safety programmes, and mixed rostered and dispatched workforces. Budget for a sales-led evaluation and ask specifically about mobile app generation migration.

Frequently asked questions
No to both. The pricing page carries no figures, no plan names and no trial wording, and offers only Book a Demo with a promised reply within one business day. The licensing basis, whether per user or per job, is not stated either.
Yes, with documented limits. Offline edits to job details and notes queue in a visible Pending changes tab and sync automatically on reconnect, a banner warns when the connection drops, and data is retained when the app is backgrounded or the user logs out. This is one of the better-specified offline implementations in the category.
Yes. Skedulo ships a Salesforce managed package that creates its data structures in the CRM, supports API calls from Apex using a long-lived API token with the Skedulo API authorised as a remote site, and documents SSO via a Salesforce custom domain fronting an OpenID or SAML identity provider.
