Skedulo vs Praxedo

Read this comparison differently from the others. Both products here are scheduling-led: they are designed to sit alongside a system of record you already have, not to replace your back office. Skedulo describes using integrations, APIs and events to exchange data with CRM, HR, payroll and other business systems, and ships a Salesforce managed package that creates its data structures inside the CRM. Praxedo positions itself explicitly to run alongside an existing ERP or CRM, with named connectors for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Salesforce, Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks and Sage. Neither is trying to be the product that bills your customers.

That matters because a buyer comparing either of these against Jobber or ServiceTitan is comparing different categories of thing. On both products, quoting, invoicing, inventory and service contracts were largely unverifiable on the vendor sites, which tells you what they are for. If you need one product to take a job from quote to cash, these are the wrong aisle. If you have a finance system you will not move and you need dispatch, routing and mobile execution on top of it, this is exactly the right aisle.

In honesty, Skedulo also presents itself as a system of record for work and people data and does not state how responsibility divides with a CRM or ERP, so it is not strictly CRM-dependent. The structural position is still the same.

The main differences

Market: they do not overlap as much as they look

Skedulo targets mid-market and enterprise frontline and deskless workforces, with no evidence of small-business targeting. Praxedo aims lower, positioning for companies running 5 to 500 plus technicians, and it is the only one of the two that publishes prices.

Praxedo list prices run 39 per month per user for Basic, labelled for small businesses, 69 for Advanced, 99 for Optimized and 149 for Automated, labelled for mid-sized businesses, with a custom tier for large enterprises. Two caveats matter. The page prints a bare dollar sign with no ISO code, so the currency is inferred from this being the English dot-com site; Praxedo is French and also runs French and Canadian locale sites where the figure and currency may differ, so treat the currency as unconfirmed. And every tier call to action is Speak to an expert, with the listed rates excluding one-time implementation and setup fees that are not quantified, so the list price is not the landed cost. There is also a hard floor: plans are available for businesses with a minimum of 5 users per month, which rules out sole traders despite the Basic tier label. Praxedo own pricing information is inconsistent, too: a live page labelled Pricing until December 2024 carries an entirely different tier structure of Start, Classic, Premium and Mobile Only.

Skedulo publishes nothing. Its pricing page carries no figures, no plan names, no licensing wording and no trial. The only call to action is Book a Demo, with a promised reply within one business day, and the licensing basis, whether per user or per job, is not stated anywhere. A demo is not a trial.

Both document offline properly, which is rare

This is the pleasant surprise of the pairing. Skedulo offline is documented with bounded, specific scope rather than asserted: offline edits to job details and notes queue in a visible Pending changes tab and sync automatically on reconnect, a banner warns when the connection drops, and data is retained when the app is backgrounded or the user logs out. A user-visible pending-changes queue is a credibility signal, because it is the kind of detail marketing copy never bothers to invent.

Praxedo states offline scope in actionable terms: technicians can close out work orders, enter comments and save client signatures without a connection. One open item: which current plan includes offline mode is unconfirmed, because the vendor own offline tier-table line sits on that superseded pricing page with different tier names. Note also that Praxedo uses the word hybrid to mean hybrid online and offline mobile operation, not hosting.

One Skedulo migration question: two mobile app generations are documented in parallel, with the current one called Skedulo Plus and the older v2 offline guide sitting under a Deprecated heading. Ask which generation you are being sold.

Developer surface and portals

Skedulo wins the integration question decisively on documentation. Its developer platform is complete and public: GraphQL with a quickstart and interactive explorer, a REST API reference, an object reference, a CLI, Functions and sample repositories. Very few products in field service expose this much. The catch is that there is no public integration catalogue: Skedulo refers only to supported integrations, APIs and events, and the 121 integrations tile on its platform page is part of a mockup rather than a factual count, so connector fit cannot be pre-checked.

Praxedo is the mirror image. Its connector catalogue is concrete and named, which is genuinely useful when shortlisting, but its API documentation is not public: the API page offers open APIs with no protocol named, no documentation portal linked and no mention of webhooks. Do not infer webhooks. Praxedo does have two separate customer-facing portals, more than most competitors: a Customer Portal giving access to specific job information with the ability to create new work orders, and an Appointment Portal for self-service slot selection and last-minute changes, with slots chosen considering travel time and job duration. Skedulo customer portal status is unverified.

Skedulo other distinctive strength is covering both job-based field scheduling and shift rostering in one platform, through modules named Field and Shift, with an optimiser called Mastermind and an AI scheduling module called Tempo. That matters where the same workforce is both rostered and dispatched, as in healthcare and human services.

Capabilities
Documented API Yes Complete public developer platform: GraphQL with quickstart and interactive explorer, a REST API reference, object reference, CLI, Functions and sample code repositories. source Yes QUALIFIED. Praxedo states open APIs so you can build your own fully custom interface, but does not state REST versus SOAP, links no public documentation portal and does not mention webhooks. Recorded yes on the existence of APIs; the documentation itself appears gated behind Praxedo staff or partner integrators. Do not infer webhooks. source
Workforce and crew management Yes Shift coverage planning, offers and swaps, worked-time review, rostering via the Shift module, and time tracking in the mobile app. source Not verified Only indirect evidence: the work-progress feature can calculate how long each job actually takes. Not claimed as workforce management.
SLA management Not verified Not mentioned on the vendor pages opened. Not verified Not verified on the vendor site.
GPS and vehicle tracking Not verified Not mentioned on the platform page; locations appear only as data objects. Absence recorded as unknown, not as absent. Not verified The mobile product tour page explicitly does not mention geolocation or GPS. The homepage mentions real-time activity tracking, which was deliberately not stretched into a GPS vehicle-tracking claim.

Offline working Yes Documented with bounded scope, which is why it is credible. Offline edits to job details and notes queue in a visible Pending changes tab and sync automatically on reconnect; a banner warns when connection drops; data is retained when the app is backgrounded or the user logs out. The older v2 app documented offline caching of the first 1,000 accounts, contacts, locations and regions per type, but that page sits under a Deprecated heading. source Yes Stated in actionable terms: online and offline capability, with offline technicians able to close out work orders, enter comments and save client signatures. Which current plan includes offline mode is UNCONFIRMED, because the vendor own offline tier-table line sits on a superseded pricing page with different tier names. Note also that Praxedo uses the word hybrid for hybrid online and offline mobile operation, NOT for hosting. source
Technician mobile app Yes Mobile module covering jobs, shifts, forms, messaging and time tracking. The current app generation is Skedulo Plus. source Yes Technician app for work order reports, photos and on-screen customer signature. source
Route optimisation Yes The Mastermind optimiser helps optimise schedules and routes. Note that the travel-time savings figures shown on the page are illustrative mockups, not measured results. source Yes Route optimisation, with appointment-slot selection considering travel time and job duration. source

Not verified means the capability has not been checked for that product. It does not mean the product lacks it. Blank cells and unverified rows are never counted as a "no".

Strengths and limitations

Drawn from each product's own profile, where every item is labelled a verified fact or an editorial judgement.

Which to choose

Pick Skedulo if you are mid-market or enterprise, your workforce is both rostered and dispatched, and you have engineering capacity that will use a GraphQL, REST, webhook and CLI surface. Pick Praxedo if you have between 5 and several hundred technicians, you want a published starting price, and your integration requirement is satisfied by a named connector to Business Central, Salesforce, NetSuite, QuickBooks or Sage rather than by custom development.

Offer either one as a complement to your system of record, not a replacement for it. Neither is a quote-to-cash product, and both leave inventory, invoicing and service contracts to whatever you already run. Budget a sales-led evaluation on Skedulo, since nothing commercial is published, and confirm Praxedo currency and implementation fee before you budget from its list price. For the scheduling and dispatch requirement itself, work order dispatch and scheduling software is the useful companion read.

Frequently asked questions

No, and that is the point of both. They are scheduling and dispatch layers designed to sit alongside an existing CRM or ERP. Quoting, invoicing, inventory and service contracts were largely unverifiable on both vendor sites. If you need one product covering quote to cash, look at the trades products instead.

Praxedo only: 39, 69, 99 and 149 per user per month for Basic, Advanced, Optimized and Automated, with a custom enterprise tier, a 5-user minimum, and unquantified one-time implementation and setup fees excluded. The currency is a bare dollar sign inferred from the English dot-com site, and Praxedo is a French vendor with other locale sites, so treat it as unconfirmed. Skedulo publishes no figures, no plan names and no licensing basis at all.

Both are among the better-documented in the category. Skedulo queues offline edits to job details and notes in a visible Pending changes tab with automatic sync on reconnect. Praxedo states technicians can close work orders, enter comments and capture client signatures offline, though which current plan includes offline is unconfirmed because the relevant tier table sits on a superseded pricing page.

Yes. It ships a Salesforce managed package that creates its data structures in the CRM, supports API calls from Apex, and documents SSO via a Salesforce custom domain. Praxedo also names Salesforce as a connector, alongside Business Central, NetSuite, QuickBooks and Sage.

Sources and review basis

Attribute values come from each product's structured profile rather than being written into this page, so a correction made once appears everywhere. This comparison was last reviewed on 7 November 2026. Assessment of this category is documentation-based, not hands-on testing of every product.
