IFS Ultimo vs Limble
A mid-market EAM against a mid-market CMMS, at broadly similar scale but with very different philosophies. Ultimo wants to be the one platform covering maintenance, fleet and safety. Limble wants to do maintenance with no volume limits and an API you can build on.

Limble
Cloud CMMS and asset management platform with unlimited assets, work orders and PM schedules on every tier, an OpenAPI-documented REST API and named ERP and IoT integrations.
Full profileThe main differences
Module breadth. Ultimo wins. Fleet, HSE, Infrastructure Assets, Medical and Operations modules alongside maintenance mean it can replace several systems. Limble is a maintenance product and does not attempt that.
Published capability detail. Limble wins, heavily. Its pricing page documents tier by tier what is included, its API is a published OpenAPI 3.1 specification, and its integrations are named individually. Ultimo publishes outcomes rather than features: no API documentation, no module specification, and asset hierarchy, purchasing, contractor management and IoT connectors not described anywhere public.
API. No contest. Limble's full OpenAPI specification covering assets, parts, tasks, vendors, purchase orders, budgets and webhooks is readable before purchase. For Ultimo we found none, only a claim of extensive integration capability.
Volume. Limble gives unlimited assets, work orders and PM schedules on every tier. Ultimo publishes user and storage entry points, 5 users and 50GB upward, which is a capacity model rather than an unlimited one.
Enterprise integration. Ultimo has a certified SAP S/4HANA integration. Limble names SAP S/4HANA, NetSuite and Dynamics 365 Business Central but notes ERP integrations may carry additional cost. Ultimo's is the stronger single claim; Limble's list is broader.
Tier gating. Limble's Standard tier excludes purchase orders, vendor records, API, IoT and ERP integrations and offline mobile entirely. Ultimo's edition differences are not published in that detail, so you cannot make the equivalent comparison.

Read the full assessmentWhich to choose
Choose IFS Ultimo if the adjacency is the point: consolidating maintenance with fleet, safety or infrastructure assets into one platform, with a certified SAP integration. Expect to establish capability in a sales conversation rather than from the website.
Choose Limble if maintenance is the scope, if unlimited volume matters, or if your integration will be API-led and you want to design against the specification before buying. It is by a wide margin the easier product to evaluate honestly.
