Senseye Predictive Maintenance Alternatives
Senseye Predictive Maintenance, which Siemens still markets under the Senseye name after acquiring the company in 2022, gives the clearest statement in this category on the question that divides it. Siemens states that customers send machine signals such as vibration, current, torque and temperature through their existing data collection systems, and that the product can integrate with any asset, system or data source. Siemens sells you no hardware. The corollary is the usual reason people look for alternatives: Senseye cannot create a signal you do not already collect, so a plant without vibration or current monitoring has nothing to send.
That splits the alternatives into two groups that are not interchangeable. If your gap is measurement, you need a condition-monitoring offering that supplies sensors, and several in this directory do, as hardware plus service rather than as a software licence. That is a different commitment: a recurring per-machine or per-sensor service contract, often with the vendor owning the measurement chain, and in some cases no route to using instrumentation you already own. If your gap is analysis, you want another software layer over your existing signals, and the field there is wider.
Two other things commonly prompt a switch. Senseye is cloud-hosted and no on-premises option is stated, so for air-gapped or data-residency-constrained sites it is recorded as unknown and in practice a blocker; a small number of products in this category state on-premises, edge or air-gapped deployment explicitly. And Siemens does not publish the model family, the required training history or an enumerated failure mode list, so failure prediction could not be verified from published sources despite predictive maintenance being the positioning. Only four products in this category carry a verified failure-prediction record, and if that is what you are buying, those are the ones to look at. Siemens does state openly that the product is tailored for large-scale enterprise applications, which is rare and useful: if you are smaller than that, the problem may be fit rather than capability.

The alternatives, and why they are here
Selected on capability and use case rather than on sharing a category label. Each entry says what actually differs.
AVEVA Predictive Analytics
AVEVA
Predictive maintenance software that flags asset anomalies before failure and supports fault diagnostics and case management, with predefined model templates and the option to bring your own algorithms in Python.
Why consider it: The nearest peer: software over existing operational data, no vendor sensors, cloud delivery, aimed at process and power operators. AVEVA is verified for failure prediction and ships predefined model templates plus a bring-your-own-Python route, neither of which Senseye offers. You give up Siemens's unusually explicit statement that any asset, system or data source can be integrated, and AVEVA never states that it ingests its own PI System data.

Predictive Asset Intelligence
SymphonyAI
SymphonyAI predictive maintenance and reliability product built on the IRIS Foundry platform. It works on data you already collect through more than one hundred pre-built connectors, with no vendor sensors required.
Why consider it: Better suited if you want named integrations and modelling structure rather than an advisory layer. SymphonyAI states that nothing gets replaced, claims more than one hundred connectors, names PI System, AspenTech, SAP, SCADA and CMMS, maps anomalies to failure modes using equipment physics, and offers edge deployment. Like Senseye, its failure prediction method is not published, so the capability remains unverified in both cases.

Falkonry Time Series AI
Falkonry
Time series AI platform for pattern recognition and anomaly detection on operational data, connecting to existing SCADA, DCS and PLC systems over Modbus and OPC UA, with edge, cloud, on-premises and air-gapped deployment.
Why consider it: The alternative for sites where cloud is not acceptable. Senseye is cloud-hosted with no on-premises option stated; Falkonry offers edge, cloud, on-premises, air-gapped and sovereign, names Modbus and OPC UA against SCADA, DCS and PLC systems, and offers a free one-week offline trial on historical Parquet data. It is an analytics platform, not an advisory service: no asset health scoring, no work order handling verified, and no human analyst layer.

Augury Machine Health
Augury
Machine health monitoring delivered as Diagnostics as a Service. Augury states it does not sell hardware and instead bundles sensors, software, connectivity, installation, support and unlimited diagnostics for a flat per-machine fee.
Why consider it: The opposite shape of purchase, worth naming precisely because of that. If you cannot run Senseye because you have no condition data to send, Augury supplies the whole measurement chain as a flat per-machine annual service. What does not carry over: it is a service subscription, not a software licence, you cannot use your existing sensors at all, ending the subscription ends the monitoring, and no named CMMS integration or API is published.

Nanoprecise MachineDoctor
Nanoprecise Sci Corp
Sensor hardware plus cloud analytics for predictive maintenance. MachineDoctor is a six-in-one wireless sensor and RotationLF is the analytics platform, licensed per sensor on an annual contract, though the platform is described as sensor agnostic.
Why consider it: The other answer to a missing-signal problem, and the more flexible one. Nanoprecise sells sensors with a per-sensor annual licence, but states RotationLF is sensor agnostic and can ingest existing vibration data, and can run on private cloud or on-premises. That makes it a hybrid rather than a pure service. It is a hardware plus subscription commitment rather than a software licence, and its analytics are undescribed beyond capability names.

What this page is not
This is not a ranking and there is no single best alternative. The right choice depends on what you are replacing and why, which is why each entry states a specific reason rather than a score. Capability values come from each product's structured profile, where anything unverified is labelled as such rather than assumed.
