What it is

Tradogram is the broadest of the small and mid-market procure-to-pay tools in this category, and the only one of its tier with a real RFQ module. Its module list runs Purchase Requisition, Approval Workflow Automation, Purchase Order, Supplier and Vendor Management, RFQ and Sourcing Management, Receiving Management, Automated Invoice Matching, Budget and Spend Control, Reporting and Analytics, Inventory Management, Contract Management, AI Procurement and Payment Management, with branded AI tooling called TradoCart, TradoScan AI and TradoPay. Two capability statements stand out at this price point: 3-Way Invoice Matching is named explicitly, and RFQ and Sourcing Management lets you run RFQs, collect supplier quotes and compare bids. That combination is unusual below the enterprise suites.

What it does not cover should temper the sourcing claim. There are no reverse auctions and no sourcing events stated anywhere. Bid comparison is stated but formal scoring or weighting is not, so this is RFQ-and-compare rather than structured evaluation. There is no dedicated spend-analysis product, only Reporting and Analytics with a custom report builder. Catalogue management as such is not a named module: TradoCart is branded tooling and PunchOut suppliers are listed, so punchout catalogue access is evidenced while catalogue authoring is not. A supplier portal is referenced only inside a customer testimonial on the features page, which is not a vendor capability statement, so it cannot be recorded. And an open API is claimed on the integrations page but no documentation exists anywhere, so the claim cannot be evaluated.

The integration surface is the widest in its tier and is the main practical reason to shortlist it. Named: QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sage 50, Sage 300 and Sage Intacct, SAP generically, Oracle generically, Power BI, and Microsoft Azure AD and OneLogin under an SSO and Access category, plus roughly sixteen PunchOut suppliers including Staples, Amazon, Office Depot, Grainger, Uline, Best Buy Business, Quill, DigiKey, B&H, McMaster-Carr, Thermo Fisher, Fisher Scientific, Global Industrial, MSC Industrial Supply, Newegg Business and CDW, and MYOB, Blackbaud, Bill.com, Gmail and Outlook outside the standard list. Two caveats: SAP and Oracle appear without version or edition, and the integrations page carries a Load More button so the list may be incomplete.

Pricing is published and is the lowest entry point in this category, but read the detail. Essentials is 99 per month, or 950.40 per year labelled as a 20 percent saving, for 1 or more users. Premium, marked most popular, is custom quote only at 20 or more users. Scale is custom quote only with unlimited users. The currency is never stated anywhere on the page, only a bare dollar sign, and Tradogram is reported to be Canadian, so USD should not be assumed and must be confirmed. Essentials and Premium both carry an additional user fee whose amount is not listed, so total cost is not predictable from the public page. Also worth flagging: every tier on the current pricing page is paid and the implementation section describes a sign up and pay step, so the free tier Tradogram was historically known for is not present. No free trial is mentioned either.

Company information is the thinnest of any product in this category. tradogram.com/about returns 404, and no acquisition, investor or ownership reporting could be found, so ownership, legal entity, founding year and headquarters are all unknown. Aggregator data exists but was deliberately not used.

Capabilities

Each capability carries its own verification status. “Not verified” means exactly that: it has not been checked, and must not be read as absent.

Published priceUSD 99 per month for the Essentials plan from 1 user, or 950.40 per year
NoteVendor-published, quoted exactly: Essentials at 99 per month or 950.40 per year labelled Save 20 percent, for 1 or more users; Premium, marked most popular, custom quote only at 20 or more users; Scale, custom quote only with unlimited users. CURRENCY IS INFERRED, NOT VERIFIED, AND THE RISK HERE IS MATERIAL. The page prints a bare dollar sign with no currency code or name anywhere, and no Tradogram-owned page states a subscription billing currency at all: the terms of use, the billing FAQ and the knowledge base were all checked and none names one. USD is recorded as an inference only, on the basis that a bare dollar sign on an international English-language SaaS pricing page most commonly denotes US dollars. THE VENDOR MAY WELL BE PRICING IN CAD: the contracting entity is Tradogram Inc., its terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and of Canada with suits filed in Ottawa, and those terms contain a clause charging Canadian residents applicable provincial taxes. CAD would be a materially different number for a buyer, so the currency must be confirmed in writing before any budget is set. A currency selector exists on Tradogram supplier-payment pages, but that is product functionality for paying suppliers and says nothing about Tradogram own billing. Essentials and Premium both carry an additional user fee whose amount is not listed, so total cost is not predictable from the public page. Every tier on the current page is paid and the implementation section describes a sign up and pay step, so the free tier Tradogram was historically known for is absent; recorded as no free version on that basis. A free trial is not mentioned, so trial availability is unknown.

Strengths and limitations

Strengths

  • The only product in its tier with both a real RFQ and sourcing module and explicit 3-Way Invoice Matching, giving it the broadest stated module list among the small and mid-market tools here. verified source
  • The widest named integration surface in its tier: QuickBooks in both editions, Xero, NetSuite, three Sage products, Business Central, SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Azure AD and OneLogin SSO, plus around sixteen PunchOut suppliers. verified source
  • The lowest published entry point in this category at 99 per month or 950.40 per year from a single user, with a self-serve sign-up and pay flow. verified source

Limitations

  • The currency behind the published prices is never stated and the vendor is reported to be Canadian, additional user fees are referenced but unpriced, and the two larger tiers are quote-only, so total cost is not predictable. verified source
  • Sourcing is RFQ-and-compare only: no bid scoring or weighting and no auctions. No API documentation exists despite an open API claim, no supplier portal is a stated feature, and no company or ownership information is verifiable because the about page returns 404. editorial

Who it suits

Organisation sizes: Small, Medium

Tradogram fits small and mid-sized organisations that want procurement discipline plus a light competitive-quoting capability without enterprise cost or an implementation programme. The entry tier starting at one user and the self-serve sign-up and pay flow make it genuinely accessible, and the combination of requisitions, approvals, purchase orders, receiving, three-way matching, budgets, contracts and inventory in one tool covers more ground than most products at this price. The breadth of accounting integrations, QuickBooks in both editions, Xero, NetSuite, three Sage products and Business Central, means most small finance stacks are catered for, and the laboratory and industrial PunchOut list suits research, manufacturing and facilities buyers.

It fits poorly if you need structured sourcing. RFQ-and-compare is not bid scoring, there are no auctions, and buyers who need weighted evaluation should look at the dedicated e-sourcing tools or the enterprise suites in this category. It fits poorly if you need a supplier self-service portal, which is not a stated feature, or if you need to integrate against a documented API, since none is published. Be careful about budgeting: the only published figure is the Essentials tier, additional user fees are unpriced, the two larger tiers are quote-only, and the currency is not stated. Tradogram does not state organisation size bands, so the small and medium placement here follows the 1-or-more-user entry tier and the unlimited-user top tier rather than a vendor claim.

Typical use cases: a growing company replacing email and spreadsheet purchase approvals; a laboratory or workshop buying through PunchOut with three-way matching against receipts; small multi-site operators needing budget enforcement and inventory together; teams that occasionally need to collect and compare three quotes rather than run formal tenders.

Alternatives

Precoro Precoro Inc., bootstrapped and founder owned Like-for-like procure-to-pay at a higher but clearer price, 499 per month for Core billed annually, with payments, inventory, contracts and expenses modules and a documented API with webhooks and pagination. Not carried over: Tradogram RFQ and Sourcing Management module, its explicit 3-Way Invoice Matching, and its lower entry point. Note that Precoro currency is also inferred rather than stated, though its FAQ at least names the currencies it accepts.
Procurify Procurify Like-for-like procure-to-pay with a Vendor Portal, which Tradogram does not offer as a stated feature, plus budget management and spend insights as first-class modules and PunchOut to Amazon Business, Staples, Home Depot, Grainger, Uline and ZAGENO. Not carried over: Tradogram RFQ module, its explicit three-way matching, its Xero and Sage coverage, and any published price, since Procurify publishes none.
Vroozi SpendTech Vroozi, Inc. Like-for-like procure-to-pay that adds a named Supplier Portal, explicit two-way and three-way matching, webhooks, a public API documentation site and named ERP solution pages for SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Deltek Costpoint, IBM and Microsoft Dynamics. Its tiers span up to 100, up to 500 and 500 or more users. Not carried over: Tradogram published 99 per month entry point, since Vroozi publishes no figures at all.
Market Dojo Market Dojo Ltd, a company of Esker A complement, not a substitute, and the class difference is the whole point. Market Dojo is e-sourcing only and would replace just the RFQ half of Tradogram, adding weighted scoring, multi-stage tenders and forward, reverse, ranked and Japanese eAuctions that Tradogram does not have. It states no requisitioning, purchase orders, invoice matching, catalogues or budget control, so run it alongside Tradogram rather than instead of it. It does publish a stated GBP price, from 1,000 pounds per month.
Order.co Order.co, independent and venture-backed A partial substitute for multi-location operators, classified as other because of its marketplace, managed buying and working capital lines. Its flat fee of 1,000 to 5,000 USD per month is explicitly stated in USD, which resolves the currency uncertainty Tradogram leaves open, and it ships three-way matching, custom catalogues, virtual cards and budgets. Not carried over: Tradogram RFQ module and inventory, and Order.co has no sourcing of any kind.

Compared with other products

Frequently asked questions

Partly. RFQ and Sourcing Management lets you run RFQs, collect supplier quotes and compare bids, which is more than any comparable tool at this price. But formal bid scoring or weighting is not stated and there are no auctions or sourcing events, so it is quote comparison rather than structured evaluation.

Not on the current pricing page. Every tier shown is paid and the implementation section describes a sign up and pay step, so the free tier Tradogram was historically known for is absent. No free trial is mentioned either.

Tradogram does not say, anywhere. The pricing page prints a bare dollar sign with no currency code, and the terms of use, the billing FAQ and the knowledge base were all checked and none names a subscription billing currency. This directory records USD as an inference only, because a bare dollar sign on an international English-language SaaS page most commonly means US dollars. Treat CAD as a live possibility: the contracting entity is Tradogram Inc., the terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and of Canada with suits filed in Ottawa, and those terms charge Canadian residents applicable provincial taxes. The difference is material, so get the currency in writing before you budget. The currency selector on Tradogram supplier-payment pages is product functionality for paying your suppliers and tells you nothing about its own billing.
