What it is

Procurify calls itself an agentic procurement platform that works the way your organisation buys, and its own words place it precisely: the home page headline is purchasing you control, from request to payment, the page title is procurement software that runs intake to payment, and the body text says track purchases through our procure-to-pay software. That is an accurate self-description, and it is the right frame for a buyer. The module set is intake and purchase requests, approvals and approval routing, purchase orders, vendor management, a vendor portal, contract management, budget management, spend insights, expense management, accounts payable, PunchOut catalogues and accounting or ERP synchronisation.

What it does not cover is strategic sourcing, entirely. RFQ and sourcing appear nowhere on the product page or in the navigation. There are no tenders, no bid comparison, no bid scoring and no auctions. If competitive sourcing is part of your process, Procurify will not do it and you will need a second tool, which is a legitimate architecture but has to be budgeted. Terminology is also worth noting because it affects how you read a demo: Procurify says Purchase Requests rather than requisitions, and Vendor rather than supplier, though requisitions does appear as an API endpoint group.

Two further limits are published rather than inferred, and both are to Procurify credit for stating them. First, the API is documented but gated: Procurify own support article says it uses a RESTful API consuming and publishing JSON with a series of published endpoints, and that the developer website also provides an OpenAPI specification file, but access requires contacting a Procurify representative. Second, and unusually candid, that same article states plainly that the Procurify API does not support webhooks. That is a genuine no rather than an unknown, and it means event-driven integration is not possible: your integration will have to poll. Few vendors in this category publish a limitation that specific.

Invoice matching sits in an honest grey area. The product page describes matching invoices to purchase orders, but never names two-way or three-way matching, so the capability is recorded as supported while the matching model itself remains unverified. Ask for it explicitly in a demo.

The integration profile tells you the segment better than any marketing line does. Procurify names QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, Sage Intacct, NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, plus PunchOut to Amazon Business, Staples Advantage, Home Depot, Grainger, Uline and ZAGENO. Xero, SAP and Oracle are not mentioned at all. This is an accounting-tier and mid-market ERP fit, not a large-ERP fit. Slack, Microsoft Teams, SSO or SAML and Power BI are likewise not mentioned on the integrations page.

Pricing is not published. The pricing page states that quotes are custom and built around products, add-ons, users and integrations, with no figures, no currency and no named tiers. Its FAQ says pricing does not exclusively reflect a per-user cost, that pricing is determined by Pro users who can be assigned role-based permissions, and that it distinguishes Basic from Pro users; the base offering is named Purchasing. There is no free version and no free trial on offer, only a demo and a self-guided tour. Any Procurify price figure circulating on a review aggregator is not vendor-published and should not be trusted.

On ownership: Procurify is independent and venture-backed. A $50M Series C was announced in October 2023 led by Ten Coves Capital with Export Development Canada, reported elsewhere as CAD 68M. No acquisition of Procurify was found. That funding detail comes from third-party reporting rather than a Procurify-owned page, so treat it as reported rather than vendor-verified.

Capabilities

Each capability carries its own verification status. “Not verified” means exactly that: it has not been checked, and must not be read as absent.

CapabilityStatusNotes
Documented API A publicly documented API for integration. Yes A RESTful JSON API with published endpoints and an OpenAPI specification file, but access is gated: Procurify asks you to contact a representative. Note it does not support webhooks. source
Supplier portal A portal where suppliers transact, submit invoices and maintain their own data. Yes Named as Vendor Portal. source

Spend analysis Classified spend reporting and savings analysis. Yes Named as Spend Insights. source
Invoice matching Two-way or three-way matching of invoice, order and receipt. Yes The product page describes matching invoices to purchase orders but never names two-way or three-way matching, so the matching model is unverified. source

Contract management Contract repository, terms, renewals and compliance. Yes source
Supplier management Supplier records, onboarding, qualification and performance. Yes Named as Vendor Management. source
Purchase orders Issuing and tracking purchase orders and receipts. Yes source
Approval workflows Configurable, auditable approval routing and delegation. Yes Named as Approvals and Approval Routing. source

Strengths and limitations

Strengths

  • Unusually candid published API limitation: Procurify states outright that its API does not support webhooks, which lets an integration team plan honestly instead of discovering it later. verified source
  • Strong accounting and mid-market ERP coverage for its segment: QuickBooks Online and Desktop, Sage Intacct, NetSuite and Dynamics 365 Business Central, plus PunchOut to Amazon Business, Staples, Home Depot, Grainger, Uline and ZAGENO. verified source

Limitations

  • No strategic sourcing at all: no RFQ, tender, bid comparison, bid scoring or auctions appear anywhere on the product page or navigation. verified source
  • The API is gated behind a sales conversation and does not support webhooks, so event-driven integration is not possible and your integration must poll. verified source
  • No Xero, SAP or Oracle integration is stated, so the ERP fit is accounting-tier and mid-market rather than large-ERP. No published pricing, no free version and no trial. editorial

Who it suits

Organisation sizes: Medium

Procurify fits mid-sized organisations that run on an accounting platform rather than a large ERP, and whose problem is control over day-to-day purchasing: who asked for what, who approved it, whether there was budget, and whether the invoice matches. Budget management and spend insights are first-class modules rather than afterthoughts, which is the right shape for a finance team that wants to stop surprises rather than run category sourcing events. The vendor portal and the PunchOut set, Amazon Business, Staples, Home Depot, Grainger, Uline and ZAGENO, suit organisations whose spend is largely catalogue-based, and ZAGENO in particular points at life sciences and laboratory buyers. Procurify states no organisation size bands and cites only hundreds of customer teams and more than $100B processed, so the mid-market placement here follows its integration profile and third-party framing rather than a vendor claim.

It fits poorly if you need sourcing of any kind, if your finance system is SAP, Oracle or Xero, or if your integration design depends on webhooks, which Procurify states it does not support. It also fits poorly if you need to budget before talking to sales, since there is no published price, no free version and no trial.

Typical use cases: giving a 100 to 1,000 person organisation requisition and approval discipline for the first time; enforcing departmental budgets at request time; consolidating purchasing, expenses and accounts payable in one tool above NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks or Business Central; controlling laboratory and facilities catalogue spend through PunchOut.

Alternatives

Precoro Precoro Inc., bootstrapped and founder owned The closest like-for-like, and the comparison this directory runs in full. Precoro publishes real price floors from 499 per month billed annually, adds payments and inventory modules, integrates Xero which Procurify does not, and documents an API with webhooks, which Procurify states it does not support. Not carried over: Procurify Vendor Portal, which Precoro names nowhere, and Procurify Sage Intacct and Business Central integrations.
Tradogram Tradogram Inc., Ontario, Canada Like-for-like procure-to-pay at a much lower published entry point, 99 per month from a single user, and it adds the one thing Procurify lacks entirely: a real RFQ and Sourcing Management module with quote comparison, plus explicit 3-Way Invoice Matching. Its integration list is wider, covering Xero, three Sage products and SAP and Oracle generically. Not carried over: no supplier portal is a stated feature, no API documentation exists, and the billing currency is never stated anywhere, with CAD a live possibility.
Vroozi SpendTech Vroozi, Inc. Like-for-like procure-to-pay with a named Supplier Portal, explicit two-way and three-way matching, budget control, webhooks and a public API documentation site, plus named ERP solution pages for SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Deltek Costpoint, IBM and Microsoft Dynamics, which suits larger estates than Procurify accounting-tier list. Not carried over: Procurify published webhook limitation is candour you lose, and Vroozi publishes no prices at all, only tier scaling axes.
Zip AI Procurement Platform Zip (ZipHQ, Inc.) A move up to enterprise intake-led orchestration, not a like-for-like. Zip adds the widest integration ecosystem in the category including SAP and Oracle, deep contract orchestration with playbook redlining, and RFx with weighted scoring, which Procurify has nothing of. Not carried over: Zip avoids the word requisition, states no matching model, names no supplier portal, and its documentation site blocks automated access.
Order.co Order.co, independent and venture-backed A partial substitute for multi-location operators, classified as other because of its marketplace, managed buying and working capital lines. It publishes a flat fee of 1,000 to 5,000 USD per month that does not scale with users or locations, and ships three-way matching, virtual cards and budgets. Not carried over: no supplier portal, no contract lifecycle management, and like Procurify it has no sourcing at all and no SAP or Oracle integration.

Frequently asked questions

No. RFQ and sourcing appear nowhere on the product page or in the navigation, and there is no bid comparison, bid scoring or auction capability. Procurify is requisition-to-payment, so competitive sourcing needs a separate tool.

No. Procurify own support article states plainly that the Procurify API does not support webhooks. The API is otherwise a RESTful JSON API with published endpoints and an OpenAPI specification file, but access requires contacting a Procurify representative.

Not published. The pricing page says quotes are custom, built around products, add-ons, users and integrations, and distinguishes Basic from Pro users with pricing determined by Pro users. There is no free version and no free trial. Figures quoted on review aggregators are not vendor-published.
