eMaint vs Maintenance Connection
Two upper-tier CMMS products that compete directly for multi-site industrial and regulated work. They are close on capability, and the differences that decide deals are commercial: who publishes a price, whether mobile costs extra, and whether on-premises is on the table.

Full profileThe main differences
Deployment. Maintenance Connection wins clearly. It is available as SaaS or on-premises, stated plainly by the vendor, and is the only product in its tier with on-premises confirmed. For eMaint we found no statement either way, so on-premises is unverified.
Published pricing. Maintenance Connection again: US$110 per user per month for Professional with an explicit currency, which is the only product in this directory printing "US $" rather than a bare dollar sign. eMaint's pricing page offers a currency selector with no amounts.
Mobile licensing. This reverses the picture, and it matters. Maintenance Connection charges US$58 per user per month extra for mobile, taking Professional with mobile to US$168. eMaint's fully offline native app is not a separate add-on. For a technician-heavy team eMaint is likely the cheaper product despite publishing no price.
Contractor management. eMaint documents vendor management with contractor access and work approvals, with a Vendor Portal available. For Maintenance Connection contractor management is unverified.
Condition monitoring. eMaint pairs with Fluke wireless sensors from the same corporate owner and documents condition-based triggers. Maintenance Connection names SCADA and IoT but we could not verify a specific connector set.
Regulated industries. eMaint is more clearly built for it: audit trails, validation, electronic signatures and Computer Systems Validation.

Read the full assessmentWhich to choose
Choose eMaint if your team is field-heavy, since mobile is included rather than charged per seat, if contractor workflows matter, or if you are in a regulated industry needing validation and audit trails.
Choose Maintenance Connection if you need on-premises deployment or want the option, or if procurement requires a published starting price before engaging. Just budget the US$168 figure rather than the US$110 one if your users need the app.
