Odoo Alternatives
Most people looking for Odoo alternatives are reacting to one of two things: the Custom plan, or the functional ceiling. Both are worth taking seriously, and both have specific, verifiable shapes.
The pricing one first, because it is the most common surprise. Odoo publishes real per-user pricing with the currency stated on the page, 16.90 US dollars per user per month on the Standard plan at the annual rate and 21.10 monthly, which is genuinely rare in this category and a real strength. But two published caveats change the arithmetic. The Standard headline is promotional: the footnote states the discount is valid for 12 months for initial users ordered, so year two costs more. And multi-company and external API access are not in Standard at all. They require the Custom plan at 32.00 per user per month annual or 40.00 monthly, roughly double, and Odoo states that installing Studio or adding companies moves an account onto Custom. Odoo.sh hosting is not included in the Custom price either. If you have a second legal entity or any integration ambition, you were always a Custom customer.
The second reason is harder to pin down from public material. In this directory only two Odoo capabilities are verified, multi-company and documented API, and both are Custom-gated. Everything else, including accounting, inventory and manufacturing, is recorded as unknown because only the Odoo pricing page was read in the verification pass. Odoo has those apps. Their depth was not assessed, so nothing is claimed here either way, and you should test it yourself rather than trust a feature grid.
The alternatives below split into three groups. ERPNext if your objection is the per-user cost structure, since its hosting is priced by resource consumption and explicitly not per user. Dynamics 365 Business Central or Acumatica if your objection is functional depth and you want a commercially supported suite with a verified module list. ERPAG or Priority if your requirement is simply a different size. We also have a dedicated Business Central versus Odoo comparison.

The alternatives, and why they are here
Selected on capability and use case rather than on sharing a category label. Each entry says what actually differs.
ERPNext
Frappe
Free and open-source ERP under the GPL-3.0 licence, stewarded by Frappe. Self-hosting costs nothing in licence terms, and Frappe Cloud hosting is priced by resource consumption rather than per user, from 5 dollars a month.
Why consider it: The other open-source-rooted option, and structurally cheaper for organisations with many occasional users because Frappe Cloud is priced by resource consumption and explicitly not per user, from 5 dollars a month. Free under GPL-3.0 with Frappe stating it always will remain so, which removes licence lock-in entirely. The trade is that the operational burden falls on you and statutory coverage was not verified.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Microsoft
Microsoft single-application ERP for small and medium-sized companies, covering finance, fixed assets, sales, purchasing, inventory, projects, HR, manufacturing, warehouse and service. A different product from Dynamics 365 Finance.
Why consider it: The commercially supported alternative with the strongest verified functional record in this segment: ten capabilities confirmed from accessible Microsoft documentation, spanning finance, fixed assets, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, projects, multi-currency and reporting. Payroll is not included. Covered fully in our Business Central versus Odoo article.

Acumatica Cloud ERP
Acumatica
Cloud ERP suite sold in six industry editions covering financials, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, project accounting and payroll. Owned by Vista Equity Partners since 2025, not EQT.
Why consider it: Worth a look once the Odoo Custom plan maths starts approaching commercial suite pricing, since multi-company and API access push you to 32.00 per user per month annual. Acumatica verifies eight capabilities including manufacturing with BOM and MRP, project accounting, payroll and multi-entity accounting. No published price, and the licensing metric is not disclosed.

ERPAG
ERPAG
Small business ERP with published tiered pricing from 49 to 199 a month, each tier including five users and 10 GB of database, with additional users at 9 a month. Free 15-day trial, no free version.
Why consider it: A cheaper option for genuinely small organisations, with published tiers at 49, 99 and 199 a month, five users and 10 GB of database included in each, and extra users at 9 a month. Every tier is capped at 10 GB regardless of price, no functional capability could be sourced at all, and currency is inferred rather than stated.

Priority ERP
Priority Software
Cloud ERP from Priority Software covering financials, supply chain, HR, project management, warehouse, CRM and analytics, with AI features marketed as aiERP. Also sells hospitality and retail management platforms.
Why consider it: A mid-market cloud suite with broader verified coverage than Odoo currently has in this directory, including project accounting, HR and payroll, inventory, reporting and mobile access. Manufacturing appears only as a target industry rather than a named module, and the claimed industry coverage runs to sixteen or more sectors, which is too broad to be informative.

SAP Business One
SAP
SAP's ERP product for small businesses, and the option SAP's migration guidance points smaller Business ByDesign customers toward. sap.com refused automated access this pass, so this profile is thin.
Why consider it: The established small-business alternative with a large partner channel and a defined place in the SAP range. Nothing functional could be verified because sap.com returned HTTP 403 Forbidden, and a third-party SAP partner describes it as primarily on-premise, run in your data centre or with a hosting provider, which is a very different operating model from Odoo Online.

What this page is not
This is not a ranking and there is no single best alternative. The right choice depends on what you are replacing and why, which is why each entry states a specific reason rather than a score. Capability values come from each product's structured profile, where anything unverified is labelled as such rather than assumed.
