Eptura Engage vs Envoy Workplace
Eptura Engage is the product most buyers still know as Condeco. Eptura rebranded it with an official launch date of 8 June 2025, and the product page now carries the header Eptura Engage, formerly Condeco, together with the plain statement that the solution you know as Condeco is now Eptura Engage. The rename was thorough rather than cosmetic: a published rebrand kit, new logos in login screens and email notifications, a renamed mobile app, and the Microsoft Teams app renamed from Condeco for Microsoft Teams to Eptura Engage for Microsoft Teams. If you are searching for Condeco, this is the product.
In this category scheme Eptura Engage is primarily a workplace booking product, with its heritage in enterprise meeting room management for banks, law firms and professional services. Envoy Workplace is primarily a workplace experience platform: an employee-facing front end aggregating services, with a visitor management origin that is arguably still its strongest module, and booking as one module among several. Both do booking. Neither is a space management product, and the distinction between them is mostly about what else comes in the box and how you pay for it.

Full profileThe main differences
Eptura Engage: enterprise room estate, quote only
The vendor page describes AI-assisted booking of desks and meeting rooms, interactive floorplans for selecting a space, administrator-set hybrid work schedules, wayfinding, an employee mobile app, hospitality and services including visitor registration, office management spanning multiple locations, and workplace analytics dashboards covering busy days, space use and missed bookings. Eptura also ships room screen applications for Android tablets mounted outside meeting spaces, which carries the Condeco hardware story forward onto generic tablets. That is a credible enterprise room booking footprint.
Two cautions, both from Eptura own documentation. First, the portfolio overlaps heavily: Eptura Workplace, Eptura Engage, Eptura Visitor, Archibus and Serraview all touch workplace and space, and Eptura own FAQ states that where both Condeco and Eptura Workplace are already implemented, the integration between them is not supported. Anyone running or planning both must confirm sequencing before purchase. Second, visitor registration appears in Engage while Eptura also sells a separate Eptura Visitor app, so the depth of visitor management inside Engage is unclear.
Envoy Workplace: published module pricing, with one printed caveat
Envoy is the easier of the two to budget, because it is modular and openly priced per module in stated USD, which is rare in this category. Reservations is USD 5 per bookable resource per month billed annually. Response is USD 2 per user per month. Screens is USD 12 per device per month. Visitors Premium is USD 362 per location per month, with a free Visitors Basic plan and a custom Enterprise tier. Deliveries Enterprise is USD 250 per delivery location per month. The caveat is printed on Envoy own page: the Response, Reservations, Screens and Deliveries prices each state that the price excludes a platform fee, and Envoy does not publish that fee. The figures are real but incomplete, and no total cost can be modelled from the site alone. Get the platform fee in writing before comparing against anything.
Envoy also has a genuine free tier rather than a trial, in Visitors Basic, which makes it one of the only products in this category you can begin using without a contract. Eptura publishes nothing: the annual subscription depends on user numbers with tiered plans and optional add-ons, which is quote only.
Microsoft support, which decides more deployments than anything else
Neither is clean, and the shapes of the uncertainty differ. Eptura says only that Engage integrates seamlessly with Microsoft workflows. There is a dedicated Eptura Engage for Microsoft Teams app with its own release notes, and a Copilot for Eptura Engage for Teams in early access as of the October 2026 roadmap, so something real exists. What the vendor does not state plainly is that booking and cancelling work from an Outlook or Teams calendar. Envoy is more concrete in one respect: Microsoft calendars and Microsoft Teams are described as core integrations and the page states that bookings can start from calendar invites, which is a firmer claim than most competitors make, although Outlook is not named by product. Across the whole category, only Microsoft Places has verified calendar-native booking, and no vendor at all documents recurring-meeting behaviour, so neither product here carries a verified recurring-booking claim.

Eptura Engage

Read the full assessmentWhich to choose
Choose Eptura Engage if you have a large meeting room estate with tablet room screens, hybrid attendance policies to administer across several offices, and an appetite for an enterprise sales process. The Condeco heritage is in exactly that problem and it is still where the product is strongest. Scope the Eptura portfolio overlap before signing and ask directly about the Eptura Workplace sequencing restriction.
Choose Envoy Workplace if reception and visitor screening is a real requirement, if you want to start free and grow module by module, or if you need to model cost before talking to anyone. Watch two things: per-location Visitors pricing punishes an organisation with many small sites, and the undisclosed platform fee means the published figures are a floor, not a total.
Neither should be bought for space planning. Envoy does not describe space allocation at all, so moves, stack plans and chargeback are out of scope, and Eptura documents Serraview as the source of truth for team and neighbourhood groupings that Engage consumes, which tells you Engage reads space structure rather than owning it. If allocation and chargeback are in scope, you are buying two products, and the integration belongs in the evaluation.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Condeco was rebranded Eptura Engage with an official launch date of 8 June 2025, and the Eptura product page reads Eptura Engage, formerly Condeco. Eptura published a rebrand kit, renamed the mobile app and renamed the Microsoft Teams app. Existing URLs and knowledge base links were redirected rather than retired. Condeco is the old brand name, not a retired product.
Only one of them tells you anything. Envoy publishes per module list prices in stated USD, for example Reservations at USD 5 per bookable resource per month billed annually, but every module price carries a printed note that it excludes an undisclosed platform fee. Eptura publishes no figure at all for Engage and states only that the annual subscription depends on user numbers with tiered plans and add-ons. Neither total can be modelled without a quote.
Neither vendor states it plainly. Eptura says Engage integrates with Microsoft workflows and ships a Teams app, without confirming calendar-native booking. Envoy states bookings can start from calendar invites and names Microsoft calendars and Teams, but does not name Outlook by product. Only Microsoft Places has verified calendar-native booking in this category.
Could not be verified from published sources for either, and the same is true of every product in this category including Microsoft Places. No vendor documents recurring-meeting behaviour, so no product here has a verified recurring-booking claim. Since recurring meetings are where room booking most often breaks, test a real series during evaluation.
