Asset Panda vs EZO EAM
Both of these are asset-tracking platforms with maintenance features, not CMMS products, and we should say that before comparing them. Both market maintenance capability and both have real but limited maintenance functionality. If you are choosing between them for custody and compliance, this comparison is directly useful. If you are choosing one instead of a CMMS, read the limits carefully.

Full profileEZO EAM
EZO
Asset tracking and management platform, formerly EZOfficeInventory, combining barcode, QR, RFID and GPS tracking and checkout custody with a maintenance module, purchase orders and depreciation.
Full profileThe main differences
Tracking hardware. EZO EAM wins: barcode, QR, RFID and GPS in one product, with a label designer and scanner support. Asset Panda documents barcode and QR mobile scanning.
Finance-side depth. EZO EAM again, and notably. Purchase orders with multi-currency and exchange rates, plus depreciation management. For Asset Panda purchase orders are unverified and depreciation is not documented. If asset value and procurement matter, EZO reaches further.
Integration breadth. Asset Panda wins clearly. Around fifty catalogue entries spanning four ERPs, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365 and Infor, plus public-sector systems like Tyler Munis and CGI Advantage, and full endpoint management coverage. EZO EAM's catalogue is identity and productivity oriented, with no ERP named.
Inspection and compliance. Asset Panda wins. Calibration management, asset inspection and compliance management are first-class product areas, with offline capture, photos and signatures. For regulated inspection records this is the stronger product.
Offline mobile. Asset Panda documents it clearly: offline mode captures activity for later synchronisation. EZO EAM contradicts itself, with the maintenance page saying work can be logged without connectivity and the FAQ saying a live internet connection is required.
Condition data. EZO EAM states it connects with IoT devices. For Asset Panda no IoT, sensor, BMS or BAS integration appears anywhere in its full catalogue. Neither is a condition-monitoring platform, but EZO at least claims the capability.
Pricing model. EZO EAM publishes figures, metered by item count with caps at 5,000, 15,000 and 30,000 units. Asset Panda publishes nothing at all, with no pricing page. EZO is far easier to evaluate, though the per-item model gets expensive as a register grows.

| Capabilities | ||
| Asset register and hierarchy | Not verified | Not verified |
| Work order management | Yes Maintenance work created against equipment with responsibility, status, due dates and attachments. Lighter than a dedicated CMMS work order model. source | Yes Work orders from request to resolution. Note the vocabulary here is service tickets and recurring services rather than a planner-led work order model. source |
| Preventive maintenance scheduling | Yes Recurring service planning with reminders and date-driven workflows. source | Yes Scheduled maintenance and recurring services, triggered on time intervals, usage readings or condition thresholds. source |
| Predictive or condition-based maintenance | Not verified | Not verified |
| Mobile technician app | Yes iOS and Android with an offline mode that captures activity for later synchronisation. source | Yes Android, iOS and Windows apps. Offline is disputed: the maintenance page says work can be logged without connectivity while the FAQ says the app requires a live internet connection. source |
| Spare parts and inventory | Yes Existing parts, inventory and vendor records can be referenced from maintenance work. Stock levels and reorder points are not documented. source | Yes An asset stock and inventory module with parts linked to work orders. source |
| Procurement and purchase orders | Not verified | Yes Purchase orders with multi-currency support and exchange rates, plus vendors and procurement costs. Unusually strong for an asset-tracking tool. source |
| Asset lifecycle and cost tracking | Yes Service costs captured per asset and reviewable alongside condition, age and lifecycle information. Depreciation is not documented. source | Yes Asset lifecycle management from procurement through retirement, plus depreciation management, labour cost and parts spend. source |
| Multi-site operation | Yes Asset management across departments and facilities, including between yards and job sites. Not framed as a multi-site maintenance capability. source | Yes Assets tied to sites, stock transfer across sites and access limited by location. source |
| Contractor management | Yes Vendor details recorded against repairs and costs. There is no contractor scheduling, portal or compliance feature documented. source | Yes Service vendor management and contracts. These are vendor records rather than a contractor portal or compliance engine. source |
| IoT and BMS integration | Not verified | Yes The vendor states it connects with IoT devices to monitor real-time equipment conditions. No building-management-system connector is mentioned. source |
| Maintenance KPI reporting | Yes Saved views, dashboards, filters and scheduled reports covering open work, overdue tasks, costs and completion status. source | Yes Maintenance analytics with custom and scheduled reports exporting to PDF and CSV. source |
| Documented API | Yes A public REST API reference with endpoints, parameters, sample requests and responses and interactive calls, plus webhooks, SFTP and an MCP connector. source | Yes A REST-based API is a listed feature, with extended service on the top package. We found no public developer portal, so the documentation appears to be behind a login. source |

Not verified means the capability has not been checked for that product. It does not mean the product lacks it. Blank cells and unverified rows are never counted as a "no".

Read the full assessmentWhich to choose
Choose Asset Panda for inspection, calibration and compliance records, for documented offline capture, and where ERP or public-sector system integration is required. It is the better audit and compliance platform.
Choose EZO EAM for tracking-hardware breadth, for purchase orders and depreciation, and where you want to see a price before talking to anyone. It is the better asset-value and custody platform.
Choose neither as your CMMS. Neither documents an asset hierarchy or genuine predictive capability, Asset Panda has no purchase order workflow, and neither offers building-systems integration. For maintenance as the primary problem, start with the CMMS products in this directory instead. The boundary is explained in asset management software vs CMMS.
Sources and review basis
Attribute values come from each product's structured profile rather than being written into this page, so a correction made once appears everywhere. This comparison was last reviewed on 7 November 2026. Assessment of this category is documentation-based, not hands-on testing of every product.
